Paper Factory in the north of France
At Pocheco, they make paper envelopes, pockets and expanding pockets in their factory in the north of France. For the past 20 years, Pocheco’s business and process has been driven by the 3 principles of the circular economy:
1) The reduction of workplace hazards and harsh working conditions;
2) The reduction of environmental impact and the prevention of pollution;
3) Increase in productivity.
Ecolonomy is how they call it. Thanks to Corinne Lepage for the word Ecolonomy, from her 2008 book Vivre Autrement.
They reject financial capitalism. The company's results are systematically reinvested in the company. No dividends.
At Pocheco, they don’t have a complicated hierarchy, or lengthy titles. A steering committee of 3 men and 3 women heads the company. Each member of the team is treated as an expert in his/her field and knows who to turn to in case of questions. Since 2008, the QSE System (Quality Security Environment) has allowed them to simplify their procedures and organize their work around a common goal: to serve their customers over the long term while respecting the planet and its inhabitants.
Pocheco is a Ecolonomy success and pioneer of the circular economy. Independent (and proud of it), creative, pragmatic and always led by their vision. POCHECO is not afraid of its convictions. Come and discover how it is possible, and essential, to reconcile the environment, the economy and the wellbeing of our employees. They organise your seminars “à la carte”.
