Creating a better world for children
Sara is one of the most prominent social entrepreneurs of Sweden. At age 18, she founded the non-profit organization Friends. An organization that she has since that lead to become Scandinavia’s largest organization working to prevent bullying and harassment – employing 45 full time staff, collaborating with 1 500 schools and having educating hundreds of thousands of parents. She has also worked as an intrapreneur within the state as a change agent, a lobbyist and adviser to Ministers in the Government. Wrote a report and a book, both about anti-discrimination work in Sweden.
Since 2009, Sara is the CEO & Co-founder of Reach for Change. The foundation was launched in Sweden in early 2010, and in close collaboration with the other companies of Our Group (Kinnevik) it has expanded to nine countries in three continents (Chad, DR Congo, Ghana, Russia, Rwanda, Senegal, Sweden, Tanzania Kazakstan). Reach for Change will launch in eight more countries during 2014! Over one million children have been supported by Reach for Change 2013.
