Love for biological tea
Why Peet Verbeek, the co-founder of the Dutch shop BioThee, sells tea? "First of all because I drink my entire life tea. And because I love tea. I just can not imagine that I could recommend someone something I do not use or would like to use. That feels so logically. Something else I do not want to sell. Anyway I just want to be doing things that are of value. Everything else is a waste of my and other people's time. What I like about tea is that very little has happened with the tea leaves. In the tea taste of nature yet. After once or twice Brew 'I regularly eat a leaf on. And then it is for me a foregone conclusion that all of our tea is organic. Organic production always brings an extra quality aspect.
Because green tea is not fermented (fermentation), preserves all natural substances. This has the result that the green tea is still full of valuable substances.
White tea is a top quality green tea which only the young bud of the plant is used up the first two leaves below. White tea also contains a higher concentration of active substances (ECGC). In Japan, the term "white tea" is not used. Japanese teas with the highest concentration of active substances have been Gyokuru and matcha. The latter is ground to a very fine powder so that not only the infusion is drunk but the entire leaf.
