The meaning of the name Raven Institute comes from "Raven - The Spirit of Curiosity, Complexity, Creativity, Courage and Change" and "Institute - meaning Build, Create, Raise, or Educate." The core values of The Raven Institute are: Love, Courage, Creativity and Being Connected.
Their Learning Village, Building Bridges, and Wholeness/Wellness/Healing pillars are for everyone. Their Co-creating Community and Capacity pillar is for Indigenous people. This space is for the work of Indigenous people, in their way, in their land.
The wisdom is in nature, in the land, and in community. The Raven Institute acknowledges that - gathering and co-creating space for that wisdom to be remembered, revered, embraced, and valued. Imagine that wisdom free and emerging - transforming into action.
